Bread Nuts and Grapes




Ingredients

1.5 tablespoon dry yeast 100g
4 cups flour (450 g)
2 cup water (200 g)
1 teaspoon salt (10 g)
1 egg
1/2 cup raisins (60 g)
Crushed walnuts 1 cup (120 g)

Directions

Dissolve the yeast in the 2 cup (37°C) water.  After dissolved the yeast, put in a pot it and add Flour, salt, beaten egg then begin knead. Add walnuts and grapes (grapes need to be further dried in the oven in advance). Knead until homogeneous, and non-sticky dough. 200 g of the dough rest after 20 minutes, and give shape to cut them in pieces. Make a deep imprint on the dough with a knife. Let stand 40 minutes to swell. Bake in the oven 230 ° C for 25 min.
